a digipak represents the formal appearance of a new album that shows off the latest hits of the artist keeping to the theme of what the album is about. e.g Gorrilaz shows each character of there band from a side shot in a rebellious looking
style which further brings the understanding of propaganda in there music video and lyrics.
A digipak has 6 faces mainly a front cover which shows off the artist or group logo or has a picture of them with the title in the fore ground. Then there's a context face which lists all the song included in the album and if its a special digipak it comes with a bonus section its usually on the back of the pack for audiences interest as to what it includes but this has only just become a recent major change in the last few years because the contents used to be inside opposite side of the front and customers used to have to open it just to see the song list which lead to damage to the pack. Other sides are inspired art styles suited to the song choices of the album and gets the audiences attention with the colour and layout scheme.
